  10. 1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  11. 1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until just tender, 9 to 11 minutes or according to package directions. Drain; rinse under cold water.

disney prodigies

i've began to notice a change in disney's standards for their stars. i don't know if you noticed but most/all are triple threats. they can sing, dance and perform and i believe most of them haven't even hit their 18th birthday yet. i sometimes wonder if we're china... sending our kids to concentration camps in order to perfect themselves into this unrealistic child of unbelievable talent. of course their parents are to blame, but i think if i had to put blame on someone, it would be disney. i'm sure the parents are pushing them but disney is inforcing them to uphold a certain image.. and i'm sure with all the "competition" with young and more talented children, it must be getting harder to audition for disney. all i'm saying is.. britney spears.

indie kids = smelly

leilanie and i went to club avenue last night and i have to say.. indie kids are so stinky! i mean, you're at a club, you're having a good time and you turn around and get this rude stench in your face.. not fun. seriously, wouldn't that be a big concern? clubs are basically feeding ground for the single, so one would have to assume that you're going to at least look and smell good for the sex you want to attract? come on kids, nobody likes a whiff of your personal oder... and most likely you'll see these people again, whether it's at the club or a possible house party, and a smelly person is something you don't forget.

for goodness sakes kids, if you go to a club, shower, put on some cologne/perfume/fabreeze whatever will hide that frighting oder you got stored in your armpits.

onward

there's been a lot happening these couple of months and actually more to look forward to... i'm just on the line of looking forward to the changes and at the same time dreading them. i mean, i know i'm looking forward to celebrations, experiences, the new year, etc... but part of me is skeptical about them.. i just wish i knew what was ahead of me. so i guess as for now i should be happy.. good health, good people, good vibes..

venice beach, california

i was reading the venice beach vending application.. yea, there's a necessary permit to vend on venice beach. i have mix feelings towards this permit, but i guess if you'd like to view it in a constructive way, it does keep the beach organized. but if you view it in a liberal way, it's reforming, and hypocritical to censor someone's personal expression.. you have to admit that most of the people vending are homeless or living on a lower income, just trying to earn their money in an honest way.. and then there the others trying to make a name for themselves. so why put a price on expression?

anywho.. all i'm trying to say is, give an artist a break. it's hard enough traditional mediums aren't cutting it. :[

mac attack

i think i might be growing a soft spot for apple.
just a little though. considering the intuitive production of apple's corporations and the many innovative gadgets apple supplies the world, i sometimes wonder why they were at the brink of bankruptcy.

i'm embracing these technological achievements one step at a time so kudos to you apple.
